Tasks

  1. Volunteers are needed to mail invitations to guests and donors,

  2. Collect art work from students and residents prior to July 30th deadline with Chair, Moira Love
  3. Work as docents in the kitchen tours from 9:30 to 1:30 in 2 hour rotations

  4. Sign up location restaurant donations worth $500 for a pop up booth on Kersting Court 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM with Chair, Karen Swisher
  5. Locate students who would like to perform a 10 minute dramatic scene reflecting our theme Children’s Smiles Around the World
  6. Raise funds in $50, $100, $500, and $1,000 amounts to support our charities. Contact Tom Brady
  7. Confirm professional writers and academics who enjoy reading student essays reflecting our theme Children’s Smiles Around the World, Contact Josh Moran
  8. Work with local media, TV, magazine, and newspapers, contact Publicity Chair, Chris Bertrand at chris@bertrandonline.com
  9. Solicit donations in kind for the two charities, Contact Jane Trozenberg, www.booqbags.com
  10. Donate $1,250 to cover our Postage expenses
  11. Donate $1,600 to cover our Printing expenses
  12. Donate $1,500 to cover our Taste of Sierra Madre T-Shirt expenses
  13. Donate $  800 to cover our  Baldwin Street banner
  14. Donate $2,000 for video production and media placement expenses

    Remember each $500 raised pays for one facial surgery by the Rotaplast Foundation and funds the fine arts programs for the Sierra Madre Youth Activity Center. All net proceeds will be shared equally between the two worthwhile charities.
